OCZ launches 120GB SSD for $349

The OCZ Agility series is promising a read speed of 230MB/sec and a write speed of 135MB/sec for this SSD. It will also have 64MB of cache and a two-year warranty. Aimed at being affordable and fast, this 2.5-inch SSD. OCZ does offer some other affordable SSDs stating at $129.99 (30GB), $219.99 (60GB) and $349.99 (120GB).

128GB NanoSSD is the size of a matchbook!

The InnoDisk 128GB NanoSSD claims to reads and write at around 150 MB/s. InnoDisk has said that they tested this SSD buy applying 20 Gs of force to it while in a motherboard. Currently, there is no info on a release, price or validity of InnoDisk's claims, but this is still pretty cool.

Kingston makes SSD upgrades affordable and easy

Thanks to Kingston, it is now super easy to upgrade you laptop or desktop to have an SSD drive. The SSDNow V series will give you cloning software, a step-by-step instruction manual for HDD removal and SSD install instructions, mounting brackets and even a 2.5-inch USB SATA external enclosure for those picking up the laptop bundle.

The 64GB (laptop or desktop) version will cost you $149 and the 128GB version will cost you $263. These kits should be available very soon, too.

This 2.5-inch, 500GB SSD Pro comes from Team Group Inc. Basically its two 250GB SSDs mounted in RAID0 built-in a single case. The only known specs are: SATA II MLC, with a 230MB/s read max and 160MB/s write max.

RunCore Pro IV SSDs, worth it? You decide...

The 2.5 inch ProCore IV drives are definitely fast, up to 240MBps read speed and 185MBps write speed. However, these drives are pretty expensive: $179 (17,706 Yen / 134 Euro) for 32GB, $599 (59,250 Yen / 447 Euro) for 128GB and $999 (98,816 Yen / 746 Euro) for 256GB. These drives are available now! World's 1st SSD-based, CD ripping, NAS device

Based on the Windows Home Server OS, the RipNAS Statement series can handle CD ripping, media streaming and networked file storage. Axxana Phoenix SSD Array can withstand anything

The Phoenix System SSD Array is a hardcore storage back up system. The Phoenix's storage ranges between 72 and 300-gigabyte capacities. It can withstand 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit for an hour, or 482 degrees for 6 hours. It can withstand up to 40 G of shock, 30 feet of water pressure, or 5,000 pounds of force.
