The PSPgo will become available in stores on October 1, 2009, in North America, Europe/ PAL territories and Asian countries and regions at a recommended retail price (RRP) of US$249 and euro 249, and on November 1, 2009, in Japan at a RRP of 26,800 yen (including tax). The current PSP 3000 will be sold alongside the PSPgo so consumers can choose which one suit him/her best.

The PSPgo will no longer use the UMD disks and instead contain 16GB of internal memory. When the PSP launches, the colors will be Piano Black and Pearl White.

With the steady expansion of broadband network infrastructure, the number of users who download and enjoy digital entertainment content has been increasing remarkably. In order to meet the needs of the growing number of PlayStation(R)Network users looking for digital entertainment content, SCE along with third party developers and publishers will continue to enhance the content line-up within PlayStation(R)Store for the launch of PSPgo, scheduled this fall. More and more new and attractive titles will become available for download from PlayStation(R)Store as well as on UMD. This broad content offering across all genres includes new games, free-demos, PS one(R) classics for PSP, add-on items for game titles, and trailers.

In addition to accessing PlayStation Store directly from PSP using the built-in wireless LAN (Wi-Fi) feature or through the PLAYSTATION(R)3 (PS3(R)) computer entertainment system, users will also be able to access and download a variety of entertainment content via their PCs using Media Go*3, a new software application. Media Go will enable users to access and download entertainment content on PlayStation Store via their PCs as well to easily manage PSP content on PCs, including games, videos, photos, and music. This easy to use software application will be available on a CD-ROM bundled with PSPgo.

Also this fall, a new music application specific to PSP that uses the "SensMe(TM) channels"*4 music recommendation feature, developed by Sony, also becomes available for download on PSP. With this music application, users will be able to enjoy their favorite music stored on their PSP through a rich user interface, designed exclusively for PSP. "SensMe channels" is a mood based music recommendation system that categorizes music content into channels such as "Relax," "Dance" and "Upbeat," and recommends music playlists for users.

> Easy Sliding Display Panel and Original Applications
PSPgo offers a variety of exciting entertainment options by taking
advantage of the sliding panel. When the panel is open, users will be

able to enjoy various entertainment content with the familiar button
control as PSP-3000, when closed, original applications for PSPgo, such
as a clock and calendar is displayed on the screen. Users can also

enjoy video and music when the panel is closed.

> Game sleep function
PSPgo has unique features such as game sleep function which enables
users to operate XMB(TM) (XrossMediaBar) while pausing gameplay

temporarily.

> Bluetooth(R) function
Bluetooth function will also allow users to connect Bluetooth
standard peripherals such as head-phones and head-set *5 as well
as PS3 wireless controller (DUALSHOCK(R)3 and SIXAXIS(R)) *6 to be

used when watching video content on TVs via PSP at home*7.

> Peripheral line-up
One of the products within PSPgo's peripheral line-up is a new
Cradle (PSP-N340) *7 that will become available in stores worldwide

concurrently with the release of PSPgo. This new Cradle enables users
to charge the PSPgo battery and also enjoy watching video and listening
to music. Also included in the peripheral line-up are video-out port

cables that enable users to enjoy games and videos on their TVs at home.

- God of War III was shown off. It will be the final game in the series. It will be here in March!

- The PSP Go is official! Just like the leak on Saturday. It will be available, globally, on October 1st for $249.

- MAG was shown off with 256 people fighting simultaneously! Will launch this Fall.



- Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker announced for 2010. It will take place 10 years after Metal Gear Solid 3.


- Final Fantasy VII will be available for download today on the PSN Store!


- Gran Turismo, LittleBigPlanet, Resident Evil (new title), Unbound Saga, Fat Princess, Echochrono, Persona, Warriors Orochi 2, Motorstorm, SOCOM and Monster Hunter have all been officially announced for a release on during or before 2010.

- New IP = Agent, where you'll play as a 1970's assassin

- Motion Controller unveiled. It's a wand that can be used like the Wiimote, but it has a trigger so you can use it to grab stuff virtually in a game. The Playstation Camera will pick up your movements. Seems to be extremely precise. It will be available Spring 2010.


- Mod Nation Racers was unveiled. It's a "Play Create Share" title featuring cars that you customize and race and you can build your own tracks, too.

- Final Fantasy XIV was announced as a PS3 exclusive title. This looks like it will be a new Final Fantasy Online title. This will be out in 2010.

- Guardian was unveiled (PS3 exclusive). This looks like a cross between Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.

Nintendo's E3 Press Coverage

- The New Super Mario Bros. Wii gets announced! It will be a four-player co-operative take on classic 2D Mario gameplay. It will be available this Winter.


- Wii Fit Plus will drop this Fall. Basically an update to the original, it will featuring six new training exercises and fifteen new balance board mini-games, including juggling, skateboarding, and running activities. Users will be able to set up routines that tone particular parts of their bodies. The game will ship with and without the Balance Board.

- Mario Galaxy 2 gets announced! No details.


- New Metroid game announced for 2010!!!

- Mario vs. Donkey Kong 3 announced as a WiiWare exclusive for June 8th

- Mario and Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story announced for the DS

- Final Fantasy: The Crystal Bearers shown off, but no release date

- Golden Sun DS announced for 2010


- The Wii Vitality Sensor gets detailed, a little. It's a finger sensor which attaches to the Wiimote to read your pulse. Details on how the accessory is going to be used in games are pretty vague, but it appears the idea is to check stress, help you relax, etc.

The video store will now be Zune-branded with 1080p instant-on streaming content in 18 countries. UK and Ireland gamers will also get to stream live TV, thanks to Sky. There will also be Facebook, Twitter and Last.FM integration.


Motion sensor, Natal gets unveiled! It's a combination of a camera and a sensor bar that just plugs directly into the 360. You will be able to scroll through windows/pages with just the flick of your hand. Apparently, Natal will pick up who you are and automatically sign you into LIVE.

Natal recognizes faces, body movements, objects, and even voices in order to integrate the player into the gaming environment. Examples shown at the conference include a boy holding up a skateboard, which then appeared on the screen, with the boy then riding said board by just swaying back and forth on his own two feet; two women trying on virtual clothes using a camera image of themselves; facial recognition; voice control; buzzing in to 1 VS 100 by raising a hand; and even browsing the NXE using hand controls as in the movie Minority Report.


Also demoed, was a painting app, which lets you use your entire body to handle virtual painting supplies, allowing you to do things like throw buckets of paint onto a canvas. A title was also shown off which showcases a women interacting with a young boy on the screen -- one of the company's more creepy demos in recent memory.
