The Birth of the 2000hp Hypercar!

TranStar is working on building TranStar Dagger GT: a hypercar fitted with a 2000hp, twin-tubocharged 9.0-liter GM V8. They're setting out to break the 300 mph production car barrier this monster, too.

Specs:

- Twin-turbocharged GM 572 built by Nelson Racing Engines (2000hp and 2000ft-lbs of torque)
- 3,000lb curb weight
- All carbon fiber construction
- Custom body plugs to bolt on for high-speed runs
- Optional braking parachute

Initial Results:

- 0 - 60 = 1.5 seconds
- 0 - 204 mph = 6.6 seconds
- Top Ppeed = 314mph
- Consumes four gallons of fuel per minute at top speed
