Capcom recently announced that the Microsoft Xbox 360 version of Super SFIV will bundle an all-new animation project exclusively in Japan. This anime is being directed by Fumitomo Kizaki (Basilisk) at Gonzo.
Capcom is also producing Zombrex Dead Rising Sun (Shibyō Osen Dead Rising), a live-action movie version of its Dead Rising 2 zombie game. Keiji Inafune, the producer of Dead Rising and the character designer of the Rockman/Megaman game franchise, will make his directorial debut with this movie. Inafune and Makoto Ikehara wrote the screenplay, and Digital Frontier (Appleseed, Resident Evil: Degeneration) is producing. The movie will be available on the web and on Xbox 360's streaming service in 2010.
