GeigerCars announces 568hp Camaro


German tuning firm, GeigerCars, has added a high-performance supercharging kit, along with a mechanical compressor to the Camaro's V8 engine. This pushes the Camaro SS to 568hp and 799lb-ft of torque.

Other upgrades include a high-flow exhaust system featuring new catalysts and mufflers, a twin-plate performance clutch, new coilovers and adjustable sports anti-roll bars, 6-piston saddles with grooved 380 mm plates and four piston saddles on 355 mm and 20-inch allot wheels.

2010 Lingenfelter Camaro SS


The GM tuner, Lingenfelter, will be building Chevrolet Camaro SS models from 550hp - 800hp. The building will takle between 2 to 10 weeks, based on what trim level you choose. Currently, there is no word on pricing.

The engine choices will include:
The L99-powered automatic, which can be upgraded with a 550hp (410kW) TVS2300 Supercharger, a 750hp (560kW) version of the same kit or an 800hp (597kW) intercooled, twin-turbo setup. For more horsepower, the factory LS3 engine will be removed and rebuilt as a 7.0L LS7 - complete with LS7 block, heads, a custom Callies crankshaft, Lingenfelter porting, valve job and surfacing; plus, a host of other internal modifications to make the car's 800hp not just brutal, but durable as well.
