iSpy: 2012 Porsche 911 Cabriolet

This updated version of the 997 will feature upright headlights, a slightly longer body, and the side mirrors are now positioned at the side of the doors and not at the window.

Also, Porsche has said they will extensively use lightweight carbon-fiber materials and active aerodynamics (surfaces that react to what the car is doing, and how fast it's doing it). We can probably expect to see adjustable front and rear spoilers plus dynamically opening and closing air intakes. Porsche's traditional handbrake may even be replaced by a electronic unit.

As far as under the hood goes, Porsche has yet to announce anything.
