The Fujisoft PALRO (Palrobot) stands at 39.8 cm (15.7 in) tall and weighs in at 1.6 kg (3.5 pd). It is equipped with an Intel Atom 1.6GHz CPU, 1 GB internal memory, 4 GB flash memory, Ubuntu OS, 3 MP camera, Wi-Fi IEE 802.11 b/g/n, USB Port and 7.4V/2,800mAh lithium ion battery.
Initially Fujisoft will start selling these to research institutes on March 15th in Japan and sometime within this year, they will offer it to consumers for about 300,000 Yen (US $3,267).
