The new XKR is equipped with the all-new, light weight, 5.0l supercharged AJ-V8 Gen III engine, which is producing 510bhp at 461lb ft. The new Jaguar can go from 0-60mph in 4.6s and has a very nice fuel economy of 23.0mpg.
Some other specs include a six-speed transmission and Active Differential Control.
Also, Jaguar offers a Bowers & Wilkins option which includes a 525-watt sound system with Dolby ProLogic II Surround Sound, three-channel stereo, Kevlar mid-range speakers, and specially designed aluminum tweeters.
Also, for those of you trying to save some money, the new XKR is offered with a naturally aspirated engine, which will give you better fuel economy but less horsepower.
We should have a better idea on a launch date and price after the Detroit Auto Show.
